The role of the Marketing & Communications Department is to
develop and implement a Marketing and Communications Strategy
for:
- The Agency; promoting the role, purpose, activities and
achievements of the Agency and our partners.
- The RES; highlighting the RES and reporting on its progress and
related strategies.
- The Region; effectively marketing and promoting the region as a
place to visit, to invest in and to host major national and
international events (including the regional opportunities of
London 2012).
The team works with Agency staff and partners to agree and
deliver high quality, co-ordinated marketing and communications. It
operates an account management structure so there are clear lines
of responsibility and accountability with both internal teams and
partners.
